As we know, our Prophet (peace by upon him) told us to not pluck our brows.
So, the halal brows concept is to not plucking, threading, waxing or trimming any hair and have a nice, clean brow result. For that, we are using different treatments and techniques who are 100% whudu safe and not permanent!
Abd-Allaah ibn Masood said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) say: “Allaah has CURSED the woman who does tattoos and the one who has them done, the woman who plucks eyebrows and the one who has it done, and the one who files her teeth for the purpose of beauty, altering the creation of Allaah.” (Bukhaari, Muslim)
Brow lamination is a cosmetic treatment that is used to tame and shape unruly eyebrows. The process involves using a solution that is applied to the brows, which then sets the hair in a lifted, uniform shape. The solution applied are only opening and closing the cuticle of the hair to make them lifted up. It’s the exact same process as perm for hair.
Eyebrow Dying is a process that is made by coloring the eyebrows, using a permanent dye. It does not coat the hair. Tints and dyes are available in different shades and are applied to both the eyebrow hair and the skin underneath.
Tinting the skin can create the appearance of fuller eyebrows or fill in sparse areas.
100% whudu safe is like hair dye.
In Arabic it’s also called Tashqeer, is the fact that we bleach the color of the bottom of the brows blond, so the eyebrows looks thinner.
It’s safe, not permanent and it does not damage the hair.
You may have some concerns and questions about all of this. Don’t worry!
Plucking is the process of removing hair from the root with the help of tweezers or other techniques, which are not allowed in Islam. Bleaching is an alternative. It consists of the process of lightening the hair color to make it invisible. Then, only the second option is halal.
